Imagine... The Year of Anish Kapoor

The BBC One arts series Imagine explores the work of Anish Kapoor, winner of the 1991 Turner Prize and one of the most influential sculptors of his generation. Presenter Alan Yentob follows Kapoor as the Royal Academy of Arts presents a major exhibition of his work.

Kapoor discussed his early upbringing in India, his development as an artist and his creative process. Directed by Matthew Springford, the programme features newly commissioned and existing music by John Hardy Music.

The 55 minute film was produced by Matthew Springford, Janet Lee and Alan Yentob for BBC One. It was broadcast by BBC One on 17 November 2009 and BBC Four on 18 February 2011, and shown at the 29th FIFA (the International Festival of Films on Art) in Montreal, Canada in March 2011.
