 Daniel Soley, Score production

Daniel Soley is a 24-year-old composer, producer and performer living in Cardiff, who graduated from The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2017 with first class honours. His music has been featured at festivals and concerts in the UK and Europe, finding programming even at Buckingham Palace. Dan is a BBC Horizons Launchpad awardee, a Ty Cerdd featured artist, a Welsh Music Guild young composer award winner, a London Symphony Orchestra Soundhub associate and a former Harrison Clark scholar at the Elgar School of Music. In 2017, Daniel received the performance of his first orchestral work, ‘Do Not Go Gentle’, by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. Supported by Wales Arts International in 2019, he represented Wales at the ISCM World Music Days Festival in Tallinn, Estonia with his work Socialite - a collaboration with Cardiff School of Art and Design.

Dan began working with John Hardy Music in 2017 as an engraver of scores for Faber Music. He has since gone on to act as Project Coordinator and Musical Director for Hidden::Hinterlandthe live concert performance of music from the two television dramas.
