Children of the Valley
Only 25 children survived the disaster when a massive landslide destroyed and buried a school in Aberfan. The aftermath was documented by photographer Chuck Rapoport who returned to Aberfan 40 years later to meet and interview the survivors once again.
John Hardy wrote the music for this documentary with special performances by his children, then the same age as many of the children in the Aberfan school at the time of the disaster.
